Creating art, in my conception, is a contrast between
capturing the rising moment and the significant impact among the essentials in
which I live by; pursuing what lives inside awakens the heart of a faithful
believer. I manage to prosper by the feeling of Solitude and the essence between the moment
and the contrast in expressing the abstract in pure Intention.
Since the early 1990’s, I was honored to be influenced by
Dudu Santos’ Artwork and Live Performances and having had the privilege of
sharing moments of his personal life and creations at his implausible art
studio located in Sao Paulo City, where I was born and raised. I, myself, for
many years, dreamed about his line of work and the intensity of his creations.
I was truly inspired by him.
As a result, fifteen years later, in February of 2007 my
first painting called the "The Secret" was produced. It was
enormously representative of the long road through my own personal endeavors.
Since that moment, felt I have awakened a giant that was
only in my dreams; I truly believe that.
God has gifted me with an opportunity to express myself
through my art. While I'm creating, I feel the intensity of the brush strokes,
my provoking spirit and blood raises out awareness of an intimate movement and
a feeling of being fortunate takes over. It gets intense.
More likely; I would say my art projects my overall outlook
on life, capturing high levels of sensuality and revealing, provocative forms,
experiencing shapes and mixed media. I grew up with a strong sense in Visual Arts,
Performances, and Entertainment.
Having an extensive background in the artistic culture is
what motivated me to dedicate and share my darkest and brightest facets to all.
Combining cultural dynamics and future wise, I envision unconventional ways in
bringing all the elements together to impact the senses, the body, and the
soul. I’m still experimenting with techniques and styles, as I believe that art
is an abundant form of God’s creation.
Complex, Revealing, Intuitive, Dynamic, Perceptive, Intentional
and Open minded are the key words into my personal journey in Art. I call it an
ongoing process in discovering your true facets; at times Bizarre, Intense, and
Unequivocal.

Giedre is a
self-taught artist from Brazil
with an uncanny eye for beauty from her earliest recollections. Influence by a
sophisticated and impeccably dressed mother to her father an elder statesman an
expert antique collector, she learned to combine beauty and detail from a very
early age. Although childhood was often magical, characterized by her being a happy talented child, one creative outlet always remained; art. Guided by her strength
and intuition, she weaves her unique talent together with life’s triumphs and shadows to evoke an emotional impact within viewers of her art such that they might
find relief and comfort.
To this date she also remains forever impacted by two
personal inspirational icons, Francisco Petit and Dudu Santos. The totality of her experiences in Brazil paved the way towards her development as
an artist from the time she moved to the United States in 1994 to the
present day.
However, it was her personal artistic awakening in 2007 that
she experienced the culmination of her life experience and made a quantum leap
with the creation of what she describes as her first “true” artistic
masterpiece “ the secret”.
She holds a Fashion degree in Merchandise Marketing achieved
in 2008 adding a cosmopolitan element to her creations. Some of her work has
been displayed on the ABC Television show The Bachelor. Her workmanship includes
her personal creations as well as collaborations with clientele, whom seek to
express themselves by creating art for personal or benevolent reasons. Indeed
watching her live performances is a way to lavish your spirit and endear your
soul.
Her initial voyage into art was also brought on during her
early childhood. Giedre was able to view. directly such accomplished artist as
Dudu Santos and Francisco Petit.
Giedre came to the United States as an exchange
student in 1994. During this period, she fell in love with the local culture,
as well as the language and costume. Previously, when living in Brazil, Giedre worked as an assistant for an art
director of a famous marketing company in Sao Paulo City,
where she was born and raised. Coming from a big city, she was involved with
the art scene, visual arts, and antique toys on a daily basis.
Giedre holds a Fashion degree in Merchandising and
Marketing, attained in 2008. While going to school, she decided to take a
different itinerary to follow her dream; getting involved with her art in 2007,
“The Secret” was created, and a new artist was born. Some of her work was
displayed at the Bachelor show and certainly created a new reinvented platform
of work in the art world.
Giedre awakened a giant dream; she believes she is blessed
with an opportunity to express herself through art. She claims that “a warm
passion takes over… the intensity of the brush strokes, provoking spirit and
blood raises out an awareness of an intimate movement, producing the feeling of
being fortunate and in peace.”
